Watermelon and Pineapple Smoothie {by Icing-Sugar.net}

It seems that lately I fulfill a lot of my wishes. First I got this rectangular tart pan, than I finally got a food processor and blender. Since then I am unstoppable and almost every day I throw whatever I can find into it. I have to admit so far I have no real talent for it, my first few attempts became either purée or were simply inedible. But very slowly I start to improve and get a feeling for it. Who would have thought that making juices or smoothies would be so hard?

This watermelon and pineapple smoothie was my very first drinkable result I got and I am so proud of it that I want to share it with you, although it might not be that special. I added some pineapple juice to make the blending more easy and the result more smooth. If you find it too sweet feel free to replace it with water or ice cubes. The smoothie is best when served chilled, the watermelon is really super refreshing on a hot summer day! You can either chill the watermelon beforehand, or chill the ready-made smoothie and enjoy it anytime you like.

    Yay on the new blender. Mine is around 8-10 yrs old, one a friend actually purchased for me as we were both into smoothies heavily back then so she got it for me so I could make smoothies at home. How sweet of her. :) My smoothies were crazy-like. Literally a whole 200g punnet of strawberries, 2-3 bananas and a little ice. That only made 2 glasses, but was soooo thick and full of fruit, it was literally like 2 meals in a glass! :lol:

    My smoothie-loving self is totally digging your fresh summery watermelon smoothie. I love the pineapple juice too. I’d never replace fruit juice for ice though, I tend to add a little ice at the end of the blending process just to make it colder and more thick. Heaven.
